In CNSHD720323, an external user lists conditions which, on his Mac, can cause the following: 

  EnvironmentError: XWindows Error

and 

  RCNE SendEventToEventTarget (suom Moved ) failed

and 

  TkMacOSXDoHLEvent failed : cppe 1 ,kHighLevelEvent 61657674 0000 tvea,-1708

Many PyRAF windowing issues on the Mac were related to X11 errors, or improperly handled native calls from within an X11-based PyRAF.

Note that in ticket #86, a new version of PyRAF is created which can be run natively on the Mac (Aqua).
